Last week I had the pleasure of attending an acoustic performance by pro-surfer-turned-musician Timmy Curran at Quiet Flight in Cocoa Beach, FL.  I’ll admit, I didn’t want to go at first because I was fairly certain it would consist of whining about “finding your perfect wave”….my boyfriend makes me watch waaay too many surf movies!  But I was really pleased when he opened his mouth and not only sounded great, but was poetic as well. The entire set was just about 45 minutes but it was very relaxing and beautiful to listen to.
